Successful nominations should show the person has made a big, positive impact on the University in at least two of these ways:

• Creating a sense of community for students with disabilities.
• Supporting social justice and advocacy for people with disabilities.
• Volunteering time to help students with disabilities succeed.

To be eligible, nominees must meet these requirements:

• Be a current Â鶹´«Ã½ student in good academic standing or have graduated no more than one semester before receiving the award.
• Be registered with DASS at Â鶹´«Ã½ and have a documented disability.
• Show leadership and work to improve educational opportunities and rights for students with disabilities.
• Achievements must have happened during the current or previous academic year.
• Show a commitment to leadership and advocacy for Â鶹´«Ã½ students with disabilities.
• Show dedication to community service that improves the lives of Â鶹´«Ã½ students.
