April 8, 2022 - Please join the Learning Communities program* on Saturday, May 7 for a trip to Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park! This park was the only town in California founded, financed, and governed by Black/African Americans. It is now an official state park, named after Colonel Allensworth - the man who helped establish the town.Ìý
Transportation, snacks, lunch, admission, and dinner at a Black-Owned restaurant will be provided to all participants. We will leave campus around 9 a.m. and return around 9 p.m. We hope you can join us!
