Veterans Day Flag CeremonyNov. 4, 2024 - The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Veteran's Resource Center and The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Police Department invite the community to gather at the Central Mall in front of Rush Hall on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. for the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Flag Ceremony. This special event, in honor of all who have served our nation, will feature special appearances by the 146th United States Air National Guard Color Guard and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Honor Guard bugler.

The event will include remarks from ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ leaders, as well as a keynote address by ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ President, Richard Yao. A flag ceremony will follow, performed by the 146th ANG Color Guard, with the American flag’s retirement and raising accompanied by β€œTaps,” played by the VCSO Honor Guard bugler.

ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to gather for this tribute, recognizing the service, bravery, and sacrifices made by veterans. Join us in honoring the legacy of courage and commitment upheld by those who have served our great nation.
