Esports (also known as electronic sports) is a form of organized sports involving multiplayer video game competitions. Esports has many factors that affect student life outcomes including student recruitment, retention, community building, and career development.
Esports at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ is open to everyone of all skill levels and backgrounds. Located in Trinity Hall, the Esports Lounge is a collaborative project between Information Technology, The Division of Student Affairs and the Division of Academic Affairs. The Esports Lounge is largely run and operated by students and designed to serve the entire university community. The lounge is made up of 15 gaming computers as well as a console display for playing console games. In order to gain access to the space, an Acceptable Use Policy agreement form must be signed. A unique esports account will be provided to the student that they can use to log in to the computers.
All participants must follow the CSU Student Code of Conduct, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Policies and complete the Esports Lounge User Agreement Form
